The awkwardness of being neither a cool backbencher nor a top student left me feeling lost in my own world. My interactions with my siblings were tinged with bullying, and I faced the same venom from my classmates. It was a time of tears, depression, and constant self-loathing. But amidst the darkness, a lifeline emerged in the form of fictional characters, guiding me through my struggles.
